Biography

Tej Greenhill was born in California in 1970. She has studied painting and drawing at the San Francisco Art Institute and California College of the Arts where she worked with Christopher Brown, Bruce McGaw and Franklin Williams. Her other influences include: Elmer Bischoff, Louise Bourgeois, Deborah Butterfield, Gerhard Richter, Gottfried Salzmann, and J.M.W. Turner.

Her professional background includes ten years with the American leather craft company, Oberon Design. Throughout her time with the company, Greenhill worked in the Art and Design Department and held the title of Vice President. For the past ten years, she has owned and operated her own craft gallery in Northern California.
