Tej Greenhill in her studio

Biography

 

Tej Greenhill was born in California in 1970. Her fine art training includes two years at the San Francisco Art Institute where she studied with artists Franklin Williams, Carlos Villa, Jeremy Morgan and Bruce McGaw. Some of her influences are Christopher Brown, Andy Goldsworthy, Deborah Butterfield, Louise Bourgeois, Mark Rothko and J.M.W. Turner.

Her professional background includes ten years with the nationally renowned leather craft company, Oberon Design. Throughout her time with the company, Greenhill worked in the Art and Design Department and held the title of Vice President. For the past eight years, she has owned and operated her own craft gallery in Northern California.
